July 2004

i am at the XU, International Art Gallery at 610 Central in Hot Springs, Arkansas, I demonstrated watercolor this Gallery Walk July 2. I have six paintings there for sale.  I will be featured artist at Diane Roberts Studio and Art Gallery in Benton, for August and demonstrate at the reception on Sunday August 1, 2004 call for directions 501-860-7467.

 

I juried into the Fort Smith National art show this year and last year.

I have a painting in the MSW show at Cantrell Gallery in Little Rock this month.

May 2, I received $700 in awards at the Cossotot Arts Center in King AR.

I received second place in the Heritage of the Forest competition at Beavers Bend State Park in Broken Bow, OK. June 2004

Stanley Rames and I have two more workshops this year at the Summit House August 5 -7 and September 16-18 for only $240 inclusive with instruction, food and lodging.

 

MSW Winter Exhibition - 18/Sep/2003

I exhibited two watercolor paintings December 4 - January 26 at the Historic Arkansas Museum, at 200 East Third St. in Little Rock, AR. This is a Mid-Southern Watercolor Society show, with 40 paintings in the exhibit, juried from over 100 painting choices.

Gallery Walk at Hot Springs  May 2004
I was the featured artist at the Fine Arts Center Gallery for May and I gave a watercolor workshop for them in March.

I had four paintings at the Statehouse Convention Center The Fine Arts of Arkansas Exhibit on Markham in Little Rock 8 month exhibit.

Art Shows - 06/June/2003
I exhibited 'Sims Winter' in the Houston Watercolor Society Show for June and received an honorable mention out of 46 entries. I also exhibited at the Arkansas River Valley Arts Center with other local artist, and I will had a workshop in July for members. I have a painting at the National show in FortSmith with a reception on June 22 1 - 4 pm. I received second place in the art exhibit at the Dardanelle Lake State Park grand opening on June 19th.

Watercolor show. My painting "Rim Walkers" juried into The 3rd Annual Watercolor Missouri National show, it is a fabulous show to see and was in Fulton Missouri, April 6 to May 19, 2003 at the Winston Church Hill Library. To view the show on line go to www.mowsart.com .
