I request to rent "Desoto House" in Hot Springs Village for nights beginning / / and ending / / . Unless prior arrangements have been made, I agree check-in time is 5:00 PM on the 1st date above and check out time is 11:00 AM on the 2nd date above. I agree to pay the amount of $1950.00 plus 9.5% tax of $185.25 for a total of $2135.25 for a weekly rate. The daily rate is $350.00/day plus $33.25 tax/day with a 2-day minimum = $766.50 total. From 05/24/08 through 08/30/08. we rent by the week only with check-in and check-out on Saturdays.
I agree that my reservation dates will be confirmed when the owners receive a reservation/damage deposit of $500.00, this signed rental agreement and signed liability release. Damage deposit is fully refundable after rental if no damages to property and furnishings are incurred. Please mail all checks payable to TLC Vacation Rentals Inc. PO Box 8057, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71910. Cancellation Policy: Refund of deposit with more than 3 weeks notice. I agree that completion of this rental agreement does not relieve me of my obligation for other charges for which I or my rental participants are responsible, including but not limited to: 1) charges for extra days 2) missing or damaged equipment or furnishings .3) forfeiture of reservation deposit if a cancellation notice is not received at least 3 weeks prior to reservation date. If weather conditions do not permit access to The Desoto House such as an ice storm or snowfall etc. my entire deposit will be refunded to me. Absolutely No Smoking or Pets permitted inside the house, $300 will be deducted for cleaning if pets or smoking in this house is detected. Smoking permitted outside only where ash trays are provided.

Liability Release for any accidents on A Lake DeSoto House@ property.
As the representative responsible for renting the "Lake DeSoto House", I hereby release Daniel and Cynthia Schanink, ATLC Vacation Rentals Inc.@ and any and all of their representatives of any liability and responsibility for any accidents I or my rental participants may have on their property and adjacent Lake DeSoto. I understand that water activities on a lake require safety precautions and following all laws regarding water safety, that no lifeguard is provided by the owners or managers and that I and each member in my group is responsible for their own safety on the lake.
